We have just received word that California Senate President John Burton has decided to withdraw SB 730--the bill to abrogate the LaMusga decision and create unrestricted move-aways.

ACCAMA Supporters Bombard Senator Burton's Office with Calls, Faxes, E-Mails in Response to Radio Campaign

Hundreds of listeners to Glenn Sacks' Los Angeles-based radio talk show began bombarding Senator John Burton's office with calls, faxes, and e-mails Monday morning. Listeners protested Burton's plans to weaken or abrogate the California Supreme Court's decent decision in the LaMusga move-away case. Sacks issued the call to action during his July 11 broadcast.
